Yes, this is the mandatory first post to my new blog. I'm certainly pleased to be able to participate in the Graphics.com Network's new blogging initiative. Having been here before, I know that first posts are typically an amalgam of excitement at being part of a new publishing venture, coupled with bushy-tailed optimism for the future and a dose of concern about being able to generate a sustainable flow of posts worth reading. And this one is no exception. However, what with the recent release of Adobe's new Creative Suite and its acquisition of Macromedia, I can hardly complain about not having anything to comment on. Thanks, Adobe!
Hats off to Steve Kapsinow for his work in making this collection of graphics-related blogs happen. They're an outgrowth of the initial blogging efforts on TheGraphicsForum.com, a recent addition to the Graphics.com Network, and have been relaunched with better blogging tools and a renewed focus on what's going on in the world of graphics and design. I'm looking forward to following the posts of my fellow bloggers in the weeks to come.
